FAQ
How does institutional domain verification work?
When your institution subscribes, we authorize your email domain
(e.g., @fgcu.edu). Anyone who registers using that
domain gets immediate digital access — no individual seat management,
no per-user fees, no waiting. The process is fully automated once the
domain is activated on our end.
Do individual subscribers get print and digital access?
Yes. The $38.80/year individual subscription includes all four print issues mailed directly to you, plus full digital flipbook access — the current issue and the complete back-issue archive.
What's the publication schedule?
LAPIS publishes quarterly: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. The inaugural issue was Fall 2025; Spring 2026 is the most recent issue. New issues drop digitally the same week they ship to print subscribers.
I registered but never got a verification email. What do I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder — automated emails from new domains sometimes land there. If it's not there after 15 minutes, email lapis@educationlaw.org and we'll activate your account manually within one business day.
Can my library get a MARC record or institutional invoice?
Absolutely. Write to lapis@educationlaw.org and we'll send a MARC record, library-formatted invoice, or PO documentation — whatever your acquisitions process requires.
Is payment processed securely?
All subscriptions are processed through the Education Law Association's Stripe portal. ELA is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit. No payment information is stored on this site. Institutional subscribers paying by check or PO can contact us directly.
Not sure which plan is right for you?
We're happy to talk through options for your school, district, library system, or law firm. Institutional pricing is flexible, and we can work with your procurement process.
